NOTICE OF PUBLIC TESTS, VOTING SYSTEM EXHIBITION, DIAGRAM OF BALLOT, VOTING INSTRUCTIONS, AND BALLOT PREPARATION AND COUNTING OF BALLOTS FOR THE MAY 5, 2020 SCHOOL ELECTION: 37752 Preparation and counting of ballots cast for the May 5, 2020 School Election (Lake County, MT) will be conducted Tuesday, May 5th from 11 am - 8 pm in the Large Conference Room at the Lake County Courthouse (106 4th Ave E, Polson, MT 59860). Results will not be released until after 8:00 pm on Election Day. The following events are open to the public and will occur at the Lake County Courthouse (106 4th Ave E, Polson, MT 59860) for the above election: Public testing of the ExpressVote and DS-450 voting system will be held at 9:00 am on May 1st in the large conference room at the courthouse. Provisional ballots will be tabulated at 3:10 pm on May 11th in the large conference room. Masks will be provided and may be required while Montana law requires that any person participating or observing the procedures of the count is required to take observing. an oath that they will not discuss the results of the early counting of votes at any time prior to the closing of the polls on Election Day. A person who knowingly violates this law shall be imprisoned for a term not to exceed two years and/or be find an amount not less than $100,000 and not more than $500,000. Please note that the county's voting systems are on public exhibition at the Lake County Election Office from April 15, 2020 through May 5, 2020. The election judge will issue Barcodes of you a ballot card that will be inserted into the ballot feed election info tray on the front of the machine. After the system accepts and votes the ballot, the system will display instructions and the PRESIDENT- ballot choices. The following helpful options are available: ANDY ANDREVS (a) change contrast and font size for readability, (b) audio U.S. REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT 1--.. DAN DAVIS Votes for headphones, (c) braille keypad, (d) connection for Sip n Puff personal device. You can make your selections by candidates COVERNOR-- and measures are printed on the card. using the touch-screen capability, or by using the keypad, GERALDINE GEORGE which features written and braille markings. After you have BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS-. completed your selections, the ExpressVote will confirm your JUSTINE JUICE KOREY KIVI selections on the screen, and by audio.
