These measures are designed to encourage responsible water usage among residents and safeguard our vital water resources. Under the guidelines, residents with odd-numbered addresses are permitted to water their properties on odd calendar days, while those with even-numbered addresses may water on even days. Each property is limited to a maximum watering duration of three hours per day, ensuring that water is utilized efficiently. Additionally, automatic sprinkler systems may operate between midnight and 6 AM, adhering to the same odd/even schedule and duration restrictions. City Manager Ed Meece highlighted the significance of these measures, we are taking proactive steps to conserve our precious resources.
