They said they would work with Congressman Ryan Zinke to pass a bill through Congress and then the Senate. Fairness and Equity is all we have asked for during the last 30 years. Our success is just around the corner. On Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025, about 75 people gathered at Senator Sheehy's home. The two senators were asked by Wayne Schile, representing SHORE, both privately and publicly, if they would agree to Zinke's legislation and support it. They both acknowledged to the affirmative. The congressional act will require the lake to be at full pool for 90 days unless we are experiencing a severe drought in our valley. At that point, the lake can be drafted by no more than one foot below full pool to 2,892 during the 90 days. SHORE, on your behalf, thanks our congressional delegation for their strong commitment.
