There were significant changes made to Lake County's Cemetery Districts in 2018. The districts now operate as one, this includes Lakeview Cemetery in Polson, Mountain View Cemetery in Ronan, Pleasant View, and the former Catholic Cemetery in St. Ignatius. The decision to combine was done to cut costs, improve services by sharing resources, and keep pricing consistent between the cemeteries.
The Cemetery Coordinator was hired by the County as Cemetery Department Head and the two Cemetery Boards were combined to form one five-member board.
