About
The Lake County Fair Board’s mission is to maintain and develop the Fairgrounds facilities to promote the Fair and provide a venue to showcase educational, recreational, and agricultural activities within the county while maintaining an atmosphere that is personal, safe, and positive for all individuals and families. The fairgrounds facility in Ronan serves the entire county, including the Arlee, Charlo, Dixon, Hot Springs, Pablo, Polson, Ravalli, Ronan, and St. Ignatius communities.
The fairgrounds host a county fair in mid-summer and other community/agricultural activities throughout the year. The current facilities include a rodeo grounds and warm-up arena used for livestock activities, and five outbuildings. Three of the buildings are connected and are used for livestock exhibitions during the county fair. A fourth building is used as space for horticulture exhibits, and is currently being remodeled for year-round community activities. The fifth building is a kitchen-equipped concession stand designed to support concurrent events on the grounds. The fairground facilities are fully equipped with electrical power and water, and can accommodate large events, such as concerts.
