BONNEVILLE POWER ADMINISTRATION PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT: "Calowahcan" land acquisition to protect resident fish and wildlife habitat The Bonneville Power Administration is reimbursing the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes for their purchase of a 19.28-acre property in Lake County, Montana called "Calowahcan." When the transaction is complete, CSKT will own and manage the property for conservation purposes and the United States, through BPA, will hold a conservation easement to ensure the habitat on the property is protected and conserved in perpetuity.
