About

The First Presbyterian Church of Polson means different things to different people. For its members and friends, it’s a house of worship, a caring congregational family; a place for sharing joys and sorrows, triumphs and tragedies; a place for study; a setting for fellowship, potlucks, Christian education, and counseling; a place offering something in every phase of life—from birth to death. For others, it’s a building for community gatherings, committee meetings, music practice, therapy sessions, weddings, funerals, and receptions. It’s all of these and a landmark too—one of the oldest church buildings in western Montana. First and foremost, however, the First Presbyterian Church of Polson is a worshipping, caring, loving congregational family of some 100 members and many active friends. The congregation is the church. The building is the family’s church home.
