The purpose of the Home School Academy is to partner with home schooling parents in pursuing excellence in education and a Biblical worldview, offering real-life lessons and class discussion in the basic courses required for Montana State Graduation as well as in Biblical Studies. Students are given understandable, comprehensive assignments to complete at home Tuesday through Friday. Students call, email, or text the teachers with inquiries throughout the week. Homework is handed in and questions answered the following Monday during class instruction and discussion time. Teachers read and grade the assignments throughout the week, giving specific comments for individual improvement, and returning the homework to the students the following Monday. ACT and SAT preparation is administered as needed. Periodic grade reports are prepared and distributed, and official transcripts are provided. Diplomas are awarded to graduates. Opportunity is given to interact with other home schoolers and to build relationships in a safe, caring, and joyful environment.
